Autism
Our clinic specializes in personalized care for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our experienced pediatricians work closely with families to provide comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatments, and referrals to specialists as needed. We offer a range of services, including behavioral therapy, social skills training, and medication management, to support children with ASD and their families.
Sunshine Pediatrics is the only physician-level provider in east Alabama with certified professionals in administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), the gold standard assessment tool for diagnosing ASD.
Our certification in ADOS testing means that we are equipped with the knowledge and skills to accurately assess and diagnose ASD in children. We understand that early intervention is crucial for children with ASD, and our specialized training allows us to provide comprehensive care for your child, from diagnosis to ongoing support.
